Street Angels was birthed in the hearts of members of the church in June 2007.   The passion behind this project is to reach the young people right across the community of Wetherby, through relationships of trust which seek to show God’s love, peace, hope, joy & freedom.

We work as an addition to and in partnership with Leeds City Council Youth Services and have a good working relationship with the police.

The Street Angels go out into the town on Friday evenings to meet young people, wherever they may be.  The young people are often heard to say ‘here come the street angels’ and seem to look forward to our conversations with them.  We seek to listen and talk with them in a non-judgemental, unconditional way about the things that matter to them.
We are always ready to help, in practical ways, if the need arises.
